How Oil Pulling Can Transform your Oral Health

You know that I’m all about efficiency in our lives. I understand that sometimes it feels so overwhelming, and there’s just so much to do and not enough time to do it all. Rest assured everything I ask you to do I am doing myself too, and can give testimony to the results.

We all live active, busy lives, and we want to streamline things and make things as easy as possible. So guess what?  I’m super proud of myself and super chuffed because I have mastered my oil pulling routine.

We’ve talked about this before during my 31-day challenge, and  I’ve also written a previous newsletter on oil pulling, so you know I’m obsessed with good oral health!  I’ve also got many experts joining us in future newsletters to talk more on this topic because, remember ….. the health of our body really begins with the health of our mouth!

If we’ve got bad bacteria in our mouths, that’s going throughout our whole digestive system. So we’re all about that to begin with.

So, in the past I’ve read all the research suggesting that you should be using coconut oil for oil pulling. Or, if you can’t tolerate coconut, then sesame seed oil.

Well guess what? I recently discovered during an interview I was watching with Dr. Marisol and Dr. Tom O’Brien that you can actually use castor oil …. And it gets even better!  Castor oil is way more efficient. So, whereas you used to spend 15 to 20 minutes oil pulling with coconut oil, now, with our magic castor oil, it only takes two minutes!! How easy is that?

I keep mine beside my basin, and then every single night before bed I do it for two minutes, flush it out, and continue my oral hygiene routine by cleaning and flossing my teeth.  Seriously, it only takes two minutes opposed to 15 to 20 minutes!

I have to admit, I did struggle with oil pulling when it was 15 to 20 minutes with coconut oil. But with just two minutes, it’s so easy just to become a part of your routine, whether it’s in the morning or the evening.

A couple of words of caution though …. the quality of your castor oil really matters, because it’s an amazing carrier oil, which means that it takes on everything and anything it is in contact with. So you only want it from a glass bottle.  No plastic bottles allowed, otherwise you’re going to get all the chemicals leaching from the plastic. So we only want glass bottles, from a trusted source. You want to make sure that it’s organic and freshly pressed, so that’s what you’re looking for.

But here’s to oil pulling. Who is signing up to say that they will commit to making oil pulling a part of their oral routine now that it’s that easy? And you’ve got no excuses with intolerances at all.

I am so excited for this new revolution of oil pulling! Do it and let me know what you think.

Sharing is caring!
